Hi. I'm Susana. I was born in Japan and grew up in Tokyo, Hong Kong and Berkeley California. I also lived in Los Angeles, London, and Hong Kong as an adult. I have a Bachelor's degree from UC Berkeley in East Asian Languages and a Master's degree in International Business from Bradford University in England where I also lived for a few years. I have a ski-freak French husband who runs Maison Mirabeau (international rosé wine brand), two bi-lingual teenagers and four rescued cats. I fell in love with Cotignac when I came here in 2009 and have since made this beautiful village my home.

I started Provence Living on facebook in 2012 when I realised there wasn't a lot of practical information for visitors in English. I volunteered for local associations and then served on the local council from 2014 to 2020. 

I love to write, cook, and drink rosé. I'm also an avid photographer and enjoy playing my guitar.

For work, I run a property management business here called Provence Living Consulting where my clients entrust me to look after their vacation homes. I am currently looking for two more houses so should you need this type of service, please do not hesitate to contact me by email in case I can help and if not, at least guide you in a helpful direction.
